Play with colour

Fair skin looks gorgeous in cool colours, while the darkest skin tones can look amazing in bright, vibrant shades!

You can apply colour in exactly the same way as I have taught you with first the basic and then the smoky eye; just play and experiment with different shades and colours. You can use lots of different colours together, or stick to one colour in a light, medium and dark shade, or use a light colour with a dark one in your sockets. There are no set rules for applying colour – that’s what makes it so much fun to use!

Tip: Red and pink shades can make your eyes look sore. Blue undertones are the most flattering unless you have a very dark skin tone.
